Our next Foxhill Roadshow Buying Event is already on the horizon, and after the incredible success of Gloucester, we’re looking forward to bringing the experience to Basingstoke on Sunday 28th June at Brookvale Village Hall.
With more people than ever attending our recent events, the roadshows continue to grow in both size and quality, attracting everything from single interesting items through to exceptional lifetime collections. If you’ve got gold, silver, jewellery, watches, coins, medals or unusual collectables tucked away at home, this is the perfect opportunity to bring them along and speak directly with our team.
Our events are designed to make selling straightforward, professional and enjoyable. There’s no appointment needed, simply turn up on the day and our specialists will assess your items for immediate purchase or potential auction consignment.
Whether you’re looking to sell a single piece or an entire collection, the atmosphere is always welcoming, with plenty of interesting items, great conversations and genuine excitement throughout the day. We look forward to seeing what Basingstoke brings through the door.
The Gloucester Event
Yesterday’s buying event at Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa proved to be our biggest and best roadshow yet. Throughout the day, we welcomed a steady flow of visitors bringing in some exceptional collections of coins, stamps, jewellery and collectables, with a number of outstanding pieces already secured for future auction consignments. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, helped by the stunning venue and a relaxed, well-organised setup that made the day enjoyable for everyone attending.
One of the biggest successes of the event was our new ticketing system, which ensured nobody waited longer than 15 minutes to be seen by one of our specialists, even during the busiest periods. Many visitors were genuinely surprised by the strong offers made on their items, with numerous collections selling on the day. Every event continues to teach us something new, and we remain focused on improving the experience each time. If you missed the Gloucester event, you can still visit The Coin & Stamp Centre, the dedicated Foxhill Auctions consignment centre, where we continue to accept items for direct purchase and future auctions.
The Chippenham Event
Our recent Chippenham Roadshow on Sunday 22nd March, saw an outstanding turnout, with a steady flow of visitors throughout the day and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.
From the moment the doors opened, there was a real sense of energy in the room. It was great to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors, all bringing along items to sell and speak with the Foxhill team. The event had a relaxed, friendly feel, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
As always, a wide variety of interesting items were brought in over the course of the day. Many were purchased on the spot, while others were consigned to upcoming auctions where we expect strong interest. Events like this continue to highlight the range and quality of items that come through our doors.
Held at the Best Western Plus Angel Hotel, the setting added to the day, with bright weather and a welcoming venue helping to create a really positive environment.
With more roadshows planned throughout the year, we look forward to building on the success of Chippenham and welcoming even more people to future events.
What to Bring

And don’t worry if you’re unsure whether something is worth showing us. Many people are pleasantly surprised by the stories, age, or quality of items they thought were ordinary.
If a piece is too large or awkward to carry, photographs are perfectly fine. Clear front, back, and detail shots will usually give us enough information to offer an initial opinion.
