Bid Live - Our New Online Bidding Platform
You can watch and bid in our auctions directly through the Foxhill Auctions website, wherever you are.
Our independent live-bidding platform is free to use, with no additional online bidding charge. The usual buyer’s premium and any applicable VAT will still apply.
Getting Ready for the Auction
If you are bidding with us for the first time, begin by creating an online account. You will be asked to enter valid payment-card details as part of our bidder verification process. Your card will not be charged simply for creating an account or registering to bid.
Once the catalogue has been published, sign in and select the auction you would like to join. Follow the instructions to register for that particular sale. We recommend completing your registration in plenty of time, as approval may not be immediate if further checks are required.
On Auction Day
Sign in to your Foxhill Auctions account shortly before the advertised start time and open the live auction.
You will be able to follow the sale as it happens and place bids using the on-screen bidding button. Always check the amount shown before confirming your bid, as bidding can move quickly.
If you cannot join us live, you may also be able to leave a maximum bid in advance. Our system will bid on your behalf against other bidders, up to the maximum amount you have entered.
Please Bid Carefully
Every bid placed through your account is a legally binding commitment. If you are the highest bidder when the auctioneer closes the lot, you are responsible for paying for the purchase.
Before bidding, please make sure that you have:
- Read the complete lot description
- Viewed all available photographs
- Requested a condition report if needed
- Checked whether the lot is marked as collection only
- Allowed for the buyer’s premium, VAT and delivery costs
- Read and understood our Terms and Conditions
