Before Arranging a Visit

To utilize our auction consultation services, please contact us with initial details about your collection. Where possible, send a selection of photographs that showcase the type, quantity, and overall condition of the items. This information allows our team to evaluate whether a home visit is appropriate and ensures that the correct specialist is assigned to you.

What Happens During a Home Visit?

During the home visit, one of our specialists will conduct on-site auction valuations of the collection and discuss available options with you. Depending on the nature of the items, we may recommend:

- Consignment to a forthcoming auction

- A direct purchase offer

- Further specialist research

- A formal written valuation

We do not typically provide final values during the visit itself. Items may need to be taken away securely for further examination, testing, or research before we can confirm an auction estimate, reserve, or purchase offer.

For any items taken for assessment, appropriate paperwork and a receipt will be provided. Please note that home visits are arranged at our discretion and are subject to location, availability, and the suitability of the collection.
