Select My Account at the top of our website and follow the instructions to create an auction account.
You will be asked to provide your contact information and valid payment-card details as part of our bidder-verification process. Your card will not be charged simply for creating an account or registering for an auction.
If you experience any problems creating your account, please contact our team for assistance.
Once you have created your account, sign in and select the auction in which you would like to bid.
Registration opens once the auction catalogue has been published. Follow the on-screen instructions to register for that particular sale.
We recommend registering in plenty of time because additional verification may occasionally be required before your account can be approved.
Select Auctions from the main menu to view upcoming auctions and available catalogues.
Each catalogue will include photographs, descriptions, estimates and bidding information for the lots offered in that sale.
You can bid live through the Foxhill Auctions website during the auction.
Shortly before the advertised start time, sign in to your account, open the auction and select Bid Live.
You may also leave a maximum bid in advance. The system will bid on your behalf against other bidders, up to the maximum amount you have entered.
Every bid is a legally binding commitment to purchase the lot if you are the successful bidder.
The buyer’s premium is a charge added to the final hammer price of each lot.
Our buyer’s premium is 22% plus VAT. Any additional charges applicable to a particular auction will be clearly stated in the catalogue and our Terms and Conditions.
Yes. If you require further information, additional photographs or a condition report, please contact us before the auction.
Condition reports are provided as a matter of opinion and should not be treated as a guarantee. Buyers should satisfy themselves regarding the condition and suitability of a lot before bidding.
We may be unable to respond to requests received immediately before or during the auction, so please contact us as early as possible.
Payment is due within 48 hours of the auction ending.

Yes. We provide an in-house packing and worldwide shipping service wherever it is safe and practical to do so.
Shipping is charged at cost, with no additional packing or handling fee. The appropriate delivery service will depend on the size, weight, value, contents and destination of the parcel.
Parcels are insured for their full declared value, including the hammer price, subject to the terms of the carrier and acceptance of a valid claim.
Certain lots may be marked collection only because they are too large, heavy, fragile or otherwise unsuitable for shipping. Buyers should check the individual lot description before bidding.
We are currently unable to ship purchases to India or Italy.

Collection appointments are available from one full working day after the auction. For example, if an auction takes place on a Sunday, collections will be available from the following Tuesday.
After the auction, use the appointment system on our website to select an available collection date and time.
Please do not travel without a confirmed appointment. Items can only be released once the invoice has been paid in full and cleared funds have been received.
Yes. Please give us the collector’s full name before the appointment.
The person collecting may be asked to provide identification. Items will only be released once payment has cleared and we have received the buyer’s authorisation.
Yes. Customers are welcome to arrange a suitable courier to collect their purchases.
Foxhill Auctions is happy to package items for collection wherever it is safe and practical to do so. Please provide the courier’s details, booking reference and proposed collection date in advance.
When you arrange your own courier, you are responsible for ensuring that the chosen service is suitable and provides sufficient insurance for the full value of the purchase.
